It is a good idea to pay attention to the following factors in order to take the best field photos:
a.
b.
c.
|
Use a flash - (even in bright daylight, a flash can drastically improve the quality of your image... it will also eliminate shadowy faces when the hunter is wearing a hat).
Include your bow in the photo... the fletchings usually offer a bright contrast in the photo and appeal to the eye.
Read up on taking good trophy photos. There are numerous good articles in hunting publications on how to take good photos in the field, and a great photo will preserve your hunt as well as your taxidermy will.

Your full name.
The state or location you harvested the animal.
The species of animal in the photo (spelled correctly).
The year that you harvested the animal.
A distinguishing feature about the animal (when appropriate and available, the best indicator here is the animal's gross Pope and Young score, but other features such as antler points or sex will be fine too).
The specific Trophy Taker product(s) that you were using when you harvested the animal.
